Many of us are inspired to do painting and drawing because we see a large body of art including painting that we find all around us. When we go to another person’s home, we are immediately drawn by their choice of artwork that they have hand picked to add a certain aesthetic beauty to their home.

Many of us may not know it, but digital art is gaining strength day by day and it’s not only because of technology, but because the medium has become very accessible for everyone.

A decade ago, digital art was confined to the geek who had the nose for technology along with some art skills. Their domain mainly stemmed from anime, futuristic scenes and anything that the graphics, movie industry etc had a need for. The case today is far different, one can pick up a tablet and start drawing like a pro, all it takes is practice. There is really nothing to master in terms of technical knowledge, all you need is an hour of your time to go through the various tools available in many of the applications and you can pretty much translate those skill sets into the digital world.

The Paintology application is a great example of how an intuitive interface can make this transition very easy. For more information, please visit the links below.
